Lorekeeper includes compendium content — including monsters, spells, magic items, conditions, species, classes, backgrounds, feats, and equipment — drawn from the System Reference Document 5.2.1 ("SRD 5.2.1") by Wizards of the Coast LLC.

The SRD 5.2.1 is available at dndbeyond.com/srd and is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0).

What the CC BY 4.0 License Means

Under CC BY 4.0, you are free to share and adapt material from the SRD provided that appropriate credit is given, a link to the license is provided, and any changes made are indicated. Lorekeeper uses this content to power its compendium — monsters, spells, magic items, conditions, and character creation options — under these terms.

What Is and Isn't Covered

• SRD-licensed content is marked internally with srd_version: 5.2.1
• Homebrew content created by users is their own — not derived from the SRD
• Certain monster names and setting-specific content (e.g. Beholders, Mind Flayers, named settings) remain Product Identity of Wizards of the Coast and are not covered by the SRD license
• The Lorekeeper application itself, its UI, and original features are © 2026 Lorekeeper

Product Identity Notice
