The Player Portal

Accessing the Portal

When your DM invites you to a campaign, you'll see it on your Dashboard. Click the campaign name to open the Player Portal — your hub for everything in that campaign.

You can also reach the portal from your character sheet by clicking the Portal button in the header (if your character is assigned to a campaign).

Portal Tabs

The portal has 10 tabs across the top:

Dashboard

Your campaign overview showing:

  • My Character — portrait, name, level, class, and HP with a link to your full sheet
  • Party — all party members with portraits, class, level, and HP. Click a character name to view their sheet (if shared publicly)
  • Next Session — the next confirmed session date with countdown, plus alerts for open scheduling proposals
  • Recent Sessions — the last 5 sessions
  • Quests — active quests with status and priority

Character

Your full character sheet with:

  • Ability scores and modifiers
  • Editable HP tracker
  • Spell slots and spell list
  • Short/long rest buttons
  • Links to your Full Sheet and Journal

Sessions

A paginated history of all campaign sessions.

Quests

The quest board showing all player-visible quests filtered by status with priority badges.

Handouts

Documents, maps, and images your DM has shared with the party.

Lore

World lore entries your DM has made visible to players, grouped by category.

Loot

The Party Loot Tracker — view all treasure the party has found:

  • Filter by status: Unclaimed, Claimed, Distributed, Sold
  • Search by name or description
  • Claim items for your character
  • View loot activity history

Schedule

Session Scheduling with Doodle-style availability polling:

  • View proposed session dates
  • Mark your availability: Available, Maybe, or Unavailable
  • See when the next session is confirmed
  • Propose new dates yourself

Combat

Live Combat View — when your DM starts a combat encounter:

  • Real-time initiative order with current turn highlighted
  • Your character's HP shown exactly; monster HP based on DM's visibility setting
  • Battle map with your draggable token (gold border)
  • Player Tools panel with:
    • My Spells — your spell slots and full spell list with expandable details
    • Resources — track Ki points, bardic inspiration, and other class resources
    • Conditions Ref — searchable reference for all 15 standard D&D 5e conditions

Notifications

You'll receive email and in-app notifications when:

  • Your DM logs a new session (includes XP awarded and summary)
  • XP is increased on an existing session
  • Session scheduling proposals need your response
