What is Lorekeeper?

Lorekeeper is a web-based toolkit for running and playing Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition campaigns. Whether you're a Dungeon Master preparing your next session or a player tracking your character's journey, Lorekeeper has tools to help.

For Players

As a player, you can:

• Build characters using the guided 7-step wizard — choose your species, class, ability scores, background, equipment, spells, and personal details
• Track your character during play — HP, spell slots, conditions, equipment, and more update in real time
• Level up with the guided level-up wizard when you earn enough XP
• Join campaigns via invite link from your DM
• View live combat — see the battle map, initiative order, and move your token during encounters
• Write journal entries — keep private notes about your adventures

For Dungeon Masters

As a DM, you get everything players get, plus:

• Campaign management — sessions, NPCs, locations, factions, world lore, story arcs, and quests
• Encounter builder — pull monsters from the compendium, auto-calculate difficulty
• Combat tracker — real-time initiative, HP tracking, conditions, death saves, battle maps with tokens
• Session planner — structured prep linking encounters, NPCs, locations, and notes
• World maps — upload maps and place interactive markers linked to your locations
• Custom calendars — track in-game dates with preset or custom calendar systems
• Generators — NPC names, encounter hooks, treasure hoards, taverns, and shops

1. Create an account at lorekeeperttrpg.com
2. Complete the onboarding — choose whether you're primarily a player or DM
3. Create your first character or set up your first campaign
4. Browse the Compendium to explore monsters, spells, and magic items

Subscription Tiers

Lorekeeper offers three tiers:

• Free — 1 character, 1 campaign, full compendium access
• Adventurer ($5/month) — unlimited characters, homebrew content, bookmarks
• Dungeon Master ($9/month) — everything in Adventurer, plus unlimited campaigns, advanced tools, and party sharing (your players get Adventurer features for free)
