Campaign Pins

What Are Campaign Pins?

Campaign pins let you save compendium items — monsters, spells, and magic items — directly to a campaign. Pinned items appear on your campaign page for quick reference during prep and play, so you don't have to search the compendium every time.

Pinning an Item

1. Browse the compendium (Monsters, Spells, or Magic Items)
2. Open any item's detail page
3. Click the Pin to Campaign button
4. Select which campaign to pin it to
5. Optionally add a personal note (up to 500 characters) — e.g., "Use for the forest encounter" or "BBEG's signature spell"
6. Click Save

If the item is already pinned to that campaign, your note will be updated instead of creating a duplicate.

Viewing Pinned Items

Pinned items appear on your campaign page in a dedicated section. Each pin shows:

• The item name with a link to its full compendium page
• The item type (Monster, Spell, or Magic Item)
• Your personal notes (if any)

Removing a Pin

Click the remove button on any pinned item to unpin it from the campaign. This doesn't delete the compendium item itself — it just removes the reference from your campaign.

Tips

• Pin the monsters you plan to use in upcoming sessions for quick stat block access
• Pin key spells your party uses frequently so you can look up rules quickly
• Add notes like "CR too high for level 3 party" or "save for boss fight" to help future-you during prep
• Pins are personal to you — other players in the campaign won't see your pins
